DESCRIPTION:In-person Capitol Hill Day is back and will take place in Washington\, DC on Wednesday\, January 25\, 2023. Join hundreds of your mentoring peers by signing up to participate (opt-in when you register for the Summit). The deadline to register for Capitol Hill Day is Friday\, January 13. Participants will not be accepted after this date. \n\nCapitol Hill Day is an important advocacy event that connects Members of Congress and their staff to mentors\, advocates\, professionals\, and young people from across the country to talk about critical issues facing the nation’s youth and the legislation and policies they can implement to expand access to quality mentoring opportunities. \nCapitol Hill Day is open to all Summit registrants that live in the U.S. All Capitol Hill Day participants will attend the in-person training on Tuesday afternoon\, January 24 – please note\, this requires Capitol Hill Day participants to travel to DC Tuesday\, Jan. 24 to attend the training. This training will prepare participants for a successful Capitol Hill Day\, including reviewing the issues and strategies that will help you make the most of your meetings with Congressional offices.
