Everyday Mentoring® Training
Children thrive when they are surrounded by caring adults in all areas of their lives—in their homes, neighborhoods, schools and communities.
Everyday Mentoring® Training
MENTOR Virginia is excited to partner with The Mentoring Partnership of Southwest Pennsylvania to bring to you Everyday Mentoring®, a new curriculum and toolkit that prepares adults to positively impact all the youth and young adults in their lives.
Everyday Mentoring® recognizes that adults everywhere can make a mentoring difference for youth in their daily lives. Parents, teachers, youth sports coaches, librarians, crossing guards—anyone who interacts regularly with young people can use Everyday Mentoring® to help youth feel known, recognized, cared for and supported.

Success Stories
Thank you for such a great training yesterday. The presentation was really good, and the conversation was even better. Thank you for being an amazing trainer and keeping the energy up and moving. The concept of mentoring is not new of course but the implementation of it is. Your training put in perspective the differences mentoring youth takes on versus other forms of communication and or “positional power.”
I am a new tutor for Alexandria Public Schools and found the information you provided meaningful and insightful. The interactive format of the session encouraged a more relaxed and engaged atmosphere. I don’t think it is an over-statement that everyone, in any capacity, would benefit from this program. It would most definitely encourage better communication and understanding from people we meet, work with, and even live with in our own households!
Allyson Roberts presented Everyday Mentoring to our faculty and staff. She definitely knew her audience and was able to engage and connect with us. The training provided many “aha” and “lightbulb” moments. Several co-workers made a point to share with me how much they enjoyed and learned from the training. Every school should have this training on an annual basis whether they have a mentoring program or not.
